I have worked with many clients with various medical conditions which had challenged them, some greater than others. This includes working to help manage conditions such as arthritis, diabetes and more.
I frequently work with clients who have been advised by their GP to start exercising or take up more physical activity. This may be as a treatment plan for obesity, blood pressure problems, arthritis, COPD, or to aid general health and strength. It could even be a part of your rehabilitation after an injury, surgery or pregnancy.
No two clients are the same, and I relish the challenge of the job. I have had the pleasure of helping a variety of clients (both GP referrals and otherwise) to aid recovery from injury, and/or manage a multitude of conditions. A great success story of mine is working with a client with various cardiovascular and respiratory conditions whom had to stop half way walking up a flight of stairs. After training and working on the correct method of training they went on to jogging and taking up 100 kilometre walking challenges.
